Perhaps you need long or short term storage at origin or destination, we have convenient and secure storage available. And importantly we have our easy insurance options available to give you peace of mind.
Prices for moving are generally based on the amount (volume) of goods you have to move. We also take into consideration the access to your home, what your packing requirements are, and if you have any items which require special handling such as pianos. Once we have these details we are able to provide you with a price. And if you have some goods which you are unsure of shipping we are more than happy to provide you with pricing options so you can determine if they are worthwhile taking.
There are a number of different methods to suit your requirements or budget, using sea or air freight.
- Sea Freight in a Sole Use Container. This is where a shipping container will be used for only your goods whether you fill it or not. You can have the flexibility and surety of being advised pre-scheduled shipping dates and details. The approximate door to door transit time is 6 - 8 weeks.
- Sea Freight in a Shared Container. This is where your goods are placed into a container with other peoples goods and you only pay for the space your goods take up. This is generally the most economical option. With this option it is not always possible to advise pre-scheduled shipping dates as they are subject to a container being filled with other peoples goods. Because the united Kingdom is our number two destination we have very regular shared containers departing. The approximate door to door transit time is 10 - 12 weeks.
- Air freight. If you need to get goods to the United Kingdom fast then we can air freight them as individual loose packages for a small shipment or packaged onto a pallet for larger shipments. The approximate door to door transit time is 7 - 14 days.

All motor vehicles must meet certain compliance regulations before they can be registered on the road for use. Depending on the age of the vehicle it will mean undergoing the tests. Note that IVA test can only be carried out at approved test facilities. In order to pass this test it may mean that a vehicle may require certain modifications such as the fitting of a rear fog light. It is also important to know that the UK has very strict emission regulations that need to be met. Please visit the Government Services and Information website to obtain the latest information regarding the IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) which has the locations of the Inspection Stations, Schedule of Fees, and an Application form.
- Vehicles less than 3 years old require an IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) test.
- Vehicles between 3 years and 10 years old require an MOT (Ministry of Transport) test and IVA (Individual Vehicle Approval) test.
- Vehicles over 10 years old require a MOT (Ministry of Transport) test.
All vehicles need to be registered with the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) for use on the roads. It is important to note that vehicle insurance must be in place before a vehicle can be registered.
