The United Kingdom

The United Kingdom shares many of the positive qualities as the US does in relation to Kiwi expats. There is a massive expat community in London, with all types of Kiwis young and old chasing a career dream or just enjoying their Overseas Experience and travelling around Europe. Australia

Over the years Kiwi expats have been frequently drawn to Australia with higher wages and arguably a better standard of living in some of the bigger centres such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. The weather has always been a major draw card for those Kiwi's who struggle with our typically colder winters and milder summers. France

France is one of the most romantic and beautiful spots in the world. Creative and cosmopolitan Kiwi’s are often attracted to the sophisticated and worldly lifestyles that the French champion. The history, art and culture balances against the nice weather and café culture; which makes France one of the best places to hang out for a year or two, even if you’re not too concerned about your job or a career. There also many smaller towns, charming and quaint in character, that Kiwi’s may find more appealing, such as in the South of France. Of course, Paris is the main hub for expats where you can meet fascinating people from all parts of the globe. Among which you will find a network of Kiwi expats.

Singapore and Hong Kong

The dynamic Asian city-states of Hong Kong and Singapore are excellent bases for Kiwi expats who want to experience a unique culture and who also want to work for some incredible international firms. The capital and finance markets of both these cities attract the more professionally minded New Zealanders, who may want an opportunity to make some money or climb the corporate ladder. Travel in the region is cheap and exciting with amazing destinations such as Burma opening to tourism, and the enticing India, and fascinating China.
